We had a great Fall Festival.  Thank you everyone for all your help!

During November, we will have Memory Drills on 0-6 x 0-4, 0-12 x 4, and 0-12 x 0-4.  Please have your child work on the facts at least ten minutes a day. We will have weekly, "Memory" drills on these facts.  Also during November, we will complete Unit 3 on Length; and Unit 4 on Weight.  For a complete description of those units, please see the Second Grade Curriculum section on my website.

I have tentatively scheduled tests for the following days:

Friday, November 6th-Unit 3 Chapters 1 & 2 on Measuring Length & Measuring Length in Meters.

Friday, November 13th-Unit 3 Chapters 3, 4 & 5 Test on Centimeters, Yards & Feet, and Inches.

Friday, November 20th-Unit 4 Chapters 1 & 2 Test on Kilograms, and Grams.

Friday, November 27th-NO TEST. ENJOY YOUR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY!

There are practice tests available for each of those tests on the Second Grade Practice section of my website.  They become available a few days before each corresponding test. Please turn in the completed practice tests for Extra Practice points in effort and a “Great Big Round of Applause”.  I am glad to see many students doing the Extra Practice. Please continue to turn the signed and dated worksheets in when they are finished. You may give them to me any school day. Thank you for your extra effort!.
