*Recognize and name halves ad quarters.

*Read and write half and quarter in fractional notation 1/2 and 1/4.

Chapter 2:Writing Fractions:

*Understand fractional notation.

*Identify and write different fractions of a whole.

*Name unit fractions up tp 1/12.

*Compare and order unit fractions.

*Find fractions whose sum make a whole.

Chapter 3:Fraction of a Set:

*Name unit fractions in part of a group.

*Find fractions by dividing sets into equal groups.

*Write fractions of a set.
