OBJECTIVES:

*Identify the names and values of coins; the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. 

*Find the value of different combinations of coins, (up to a total value of $.99) by counting all the coins.  Count by 1's, 5's, 10's, and 25's.

*Identify and write the symbol for cent.

*Pay for things using coins, up to a total value of $.99.

*Students will be able to show different combinations of coins that equal the same value, up to the total value of  $0.99.

*Match the cost of items with the amount of money needed to pay for them.

*Count in 25's, 10's, 5's, and 1's to pay for items using a given set of coins.
