HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the upcoming holidays!

The Kindergartners have been busy learning about shapes and solids, ordering and comparing numbers;  also, memorizing the number before and number after for numbers zero through twenty.  During December we will be working on adding 1 and 2 to numbers 0-10, and subtracting 1 and 2 from 2-12. Please have your child work on these facts at least ten minutes a day at home.

Also during December, we will  complete Unit 5 on Shapes and Solids, and Unit 6 on Patterns. We will begin Unit 7 on Length.  If you would like a more detailed description of these units, please refer to the Kindergarten Curriculum section on my website.   I have been very pleased with all the Extra Practice that has been completed!
