We had a great Fall Festival.  Thank you everyone for all your help!

During November, we will be completing Unit 4 on order, and Unit 5 on shapes. For a complete description of those units, please see the Kindergarten Curriculum section on my website.

We have also been working on knowing the number after for numbers 0-9, and the numbers before for numbers 1-10.  The students need to be able to quickly write the numeral for that number. We have been having weekly "Memory" tests on this concept.  Soon they will need to say the number before and after for numbers 1-10, and being able to quickly write that numeral. Please take a few minutes each day to work with your child on these concepts.  This will better prepare them for each week's, "Memory" test.

I am very excited to see so many students doing the Extra Practice.  Please continue to turn the signed and dated worksheets in when they are finished for points in Effort and “A Great Big Round of Applause”.  You may give them to me any school day. Thank you for your extra effort!
